The Hudson Football Team is hosting the 3rd Annual "Coats 4 The Club" event at its home game Oct. 23 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.

People are asked to donated gently used winter coats to help keep the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland warm this winter. All of the winter coats will be professionally cleaned by Fussy Cleaners of Hudson and brought to the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland to provide much needed warmth for many of the kids that attend the clubs in Cleveland.

"Many of the kids that attend this club have to walk to get there and do not have a coat warm enough to handle the Cleveland winters," said Cindy Newton, community engagement coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland. "Over the past two years we have provided over 500 coats from this event that the Hudson football players sponsor and it has helped a tremendous amount of families."

Coats will be collected through Oct. 30 at the following locations: Oct. 23 football game at Hudson Memorial Stadium (gates open at 5:30); the Hudson High School Main Office (during school hours); ACME Fresh Market of Hudson (Customer Service); and Fussy Cleaners of Hudson, 51 S. Main St. #1.
