Solon --The eighth annual Business to Business Show on May 14 was truly "Where Businesses Connect," as hundreds of representatives from local businesses networked with one another at the Signature of Solon.
The venue was abuzz with business cards and packed with people as vendors and attendees discussed local goods and services.
"It's just a good chance for our businesses to be showcased," said Abby Fechter, executive director for the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce. "It's a really fun show to put on."
The event was hosted by the Twinsburg, Aurora and Solon chambers of commerce, and was free and open to the public.
New additions to the 3Chamber event this year included four interactive shows every half hour, put on by the Cleveland Indians, which offered giveaways of Indians memorabilia; Aurora Farms Premium Outlets, which put on a fashion show displaying some of the clothing from their many designers; Visual Marketing Systems, which did a live graphic wrapping demonstration of a small Audi; and Purple Films, which showcased some of its popular videos assembled for the city of Cleveland. In addition, Purple Films made a video of the event.
"Taste of the Chambers" booths were interspersed throughout the event, offering barbecue to baked goods. Some of the booths offering samplings were Akira Sushi, Boulder Creek Golf Club, Burgers 2 Beer, Floured Apron, Honey Baked Ham Cafe and Old Carolina BBQ.
"The Business Show is a wonderful example of how well the Aurora, Solon, and Twinsburg chambers collaborate and work together to provide regional support for the businesses we work to support," Aurora Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Laura Holman said.
"Over the last eight years, the show has evolved to reflect the changing needs of our business communities. We are proud to be part of such a dynamic event."
