The State Road Shopping Center is now part of an area that is eligible for tax breaks.
Cuyahoga Falls City Council Monday approved expanding the boundaries of the city's northern community reinvestment area to include the shopping center.
The boundary adjustment also covers parts of State and Graham roads. The parcels include commercial and mixed-use zoning.
According to city officials, the boundary adjustment is designed to encourage growth and investment by allowing properties in the area to apply for tax abatement agreements.
