Stow " Geis Companies representatives hope to add a 62,412-square-foot facility to its Prosper Drive site. The 57-acre industrial park, Stow Commerce Center, currently has two businesses: Mickey Thompson Tires and Wrayco Industries.
The Geis Companies purchased the industrial site, which is between McCauley and Seasons roads, from Prosper Development in 2005.
During Stow City Council's June 25 Planning Committee meeting, Geis Companies Architect Greg Seifert is expected to present a proposal for the facility. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Stow City Hall.
Seifert said if the plans are approved by Council, construction is expected to begin in July, and the building is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Seifert said the building is expected to be used for one business, but he declined to name the company that will occupy the facility.
