Aurora -- A Twinsburg man was scheduled to be arraigned June 15 on charges that he exposed himself in Tinkers Creek State Park.
William K. Penny, 54, was charged June 13 by Aurora police with one count of public indecency, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, in connection with the incident.
Penny is the latest man charged in recent weeks by Aurora police in connection with Tinkers Creek, which is located on Aurora-Hudson Road at the Streetsboro and Aurora border.
Michael J. Romeo, 42, of Cleveland Heights, was arrested May 18 and charged with one count of sexual imposition, a third-degree misdemeanor, after allegedly making sexual advances toward a police officer in the park.
He posted a $200 bond on May 21 and is set for a pretrial hearing June 27 in the Kent branch of Portage County Municipal Court.
Douglas E. Mcadeo, 48, of Streetsboro was charg-ed May 19 with public indecency after he alleged-ly exposed himself to an officer.
He was issued a summons to appear in court on May 23 for arraignment, but court records indicate that he did not show up for the hearing.
Aurora Police Chief Seth Riewaldt said officers from Aurora, Streetsboro and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will continue to monitor Tinkers Creek to discourage such activity.
