School activities: Student government (vice president and president), National Honor Society, school ambassador, basketball and baseball. Also took a trip to Italy with Latin instructor and fellow students to study Roman art and history

Community service/activities: Volunteered with Sunrise Assisted Living (recreational activities with elderly residents), Kent for Kids (assistant youth camp instructor), U-Bathe-Em (washing abandoned dogs) and served as a peer tutor at Walsh Jesuit

Awards: Daimler Chrysler Citizenship Youth Award, first honors every semester, Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award, Outstanding Senior Award, student-athlete award for basketball (highest GPA on team), MVP awards in baseball for offense and pitching

Future plans: Will attend the University of Notre Dame. Intends to major in biology in the pre-professional program and hopes for a career in medicine. He is interested in neurology.
