The 21st Annual Sugar Bush Golf Classic, a golf outing that benefits the nonprofit organization Hattie Larlham, is set to take place May 23.Registration for the 8 a.m. shotgun start begins at 7 a.m. Afternoon registration with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start begins at 12:30 p.m.The event has raised more than $360,000 over the years.This year's outing will feature pre- and post-game meals, a silent auction, a raffle, other contests and prizes.Former Cleveland Indians pitcher Lenny Barker is scheduled to make a special appearance during the event.Barker, who is best known for pitching a perfect game in 1981, will join Cleveland Indians Vice President of Public Relations Bob DiBiasio and Bill Wills, WTAM 1100 morning radio host, at the Sugar Bush Golf Club in Garrettsville.Tickets for the outing are $120 per person and $480 for a team of four.Proceeds from the outing will go toward Hattie Larlham's Hope At Work capital campaign, which is a $14 million project that will expand the organization's scope of services through state of the art equipment and renovations to its main campus in Mantua.
