Stow -- Police arrested a Stow man, his daughter and an Akron man and charged them with several offenses following a reported incident outside Lakeview Elementary School Jan. 21.
According to a police report, officers observed the 43-year-old Stow man threatening to harm others with a taser he owned at 8:35 p.m.
The incident occurred after the man's daughter was told to leave a city-sponsored youth sports game, according to the report. Police reported the female was told to leave because she was seen yelling and making obscene gestures at several individuals during the game, according to the report.
Police reported the Stow man fled the area in his vehicle with his daughter and the 36-year-old Akron man, who was an acquaintance of the Stow man, following the incident with the taser. Police reported no one was injured.
According to the report, the men and the female were caught on Graham Road shortly after fleeing the scene. During the investigation, suspected marijuana was found in the vehicle.
Police reported the taser, which the Stow man threw away while the group attempted to flee, was recovered on the side of Graham Road.
The Stow man, 43, was charged with inducing panic, possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and disorderly conduct. The Akron man, 36, was charged with obstructing official business.
Their cases have been filed with the Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.
The 15-year-old female was charged with disorderly conduct. She was referred to Stow Youth Services.
