Handbell ensembles -- The church offers handbell ensembles from beginner through advanced (sixth-graders through adults of any age); singing with hands by using American Sign Language, no experience necessary (third-graders to adults); choirs for kindergartners to second-graders, third- to sixth-graders, seventh- to 12th-graders and adult; and worship band and orchestra.

* First Christian Church of Stow's Sunday services include worship in the chapel at 8:30 a.m., Christian Education classes for all ages from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and worship in the sanctuary at 10:45 a.m. Nursery care is provided during all services.

Kindergartners through fifth-graders begin worship in the sanctuary and then attend their own "Junior Church" after the Children's Sermon time. Communion is shared each week during both worship services.

Fishcreek Nazarene Worship Center

School of the Bible -- Fishcreek School of the Bible for all ages takes place every Sunday at 6 p.m. There is a class for everyone.

* Visit the church Wednesdays for dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted.

At 6:30, the church will host a time of worship, devotions and prayer.

Grace Bible Church

Service times -- Grace Bible Church meets for worship Sunday mornings from 9:35 to 11 a.m.

The church provides nursery care in which 2- through 5-year-olds enjoy a Sunday School lesson.

The church also provides a Sunday School class for elementary-age kids halfway through the service.

On Sundays from 6 to 7:30 p.m., seventh- through 12th-graders meet for games, a lesson from God's Word and snacks.

* The church presently has two small groups (flocks) meeting for a time of fellowship and study.

They meet twice a month either on a Friday or Saturday evening.

Holy Family Church

Concert -- As a precursor to "The Fest," a Christian family festival in Wickliffe on Aug. 5, organizers will bring their road show to Holy Family Church in Stow June 1.

Doors open at 7, and music starts at 7:30 p.m. This event will feature Divine Soldiers, an Akron-based Christian hip-hop band.

The show is designed to bring youth and young adults of all Christian denominations together for an evening of contemporary Christian music, dynamic speakers and engaging presentations. Stow Alliance Fellowship

Vacation Bible school -- Stow Alliance Fellowship will host "Avalanche Ranch: A Wild Ride Through God's Word" for 3-year-olds through sixth-graders June 11 to 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Attendees will sing songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble "Chuck Wagon Chow," experience Bible adventures and create crafts to take home and play with all summer long. Pre-register by calling the church.

Youth program -- Three-year-olds through fifth-graders are invited for a wild ride through God's Word at Avalanche Ranch June 11 to 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

This free program features games, crafts, snacks and knee-slapping music. Register online or by calling the church.

* Bible story time and crafts for children will be hosted by the church at its picnic area near the fire station playground Tuesdays at 10 a.m. starting June 19.
