Guests at Kent's Standing Rock Cultural Center on July 24 saw the world premiere of "Boogers, Witches and Haints: Spooky Stories from Appalachia."

The one-man show features Kyle Jozsa as the storyteller, and the production was one of the end products of the hike through the entire Appalachian trail in the summer of 2013 by Jozsa and his husband Benjamin Rexroad, who directed the play. The one-hour performance mixes in a few anecdotes from the lengthy journey with a few of the Appalachian legends they heard along the way.

Wandering Aesthetics will sponsor two more shows July 31 and Aug. 1 at Standing Rock, which is at 300 N. Water St. in Kent.
