Occupation: Retired. I was an educational aide for Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools before that.
How long have you lived in Munroe Falls? For 40 years. When I first moved here, the city was building the Route 91 bridge. It used to be an old wooden bridge.
How would you describe the Stow-Munroe Falls area to someone who has never been here? It's just a great place to live and a great place to raise kids.
What is your favorite activity in the area? I belong to the Munroe Falls Historical Society, the Munroe Falls Garden Club and Twin Falls United Methodist Church. I like walking on the bike trail.
Hobbies/Interests: Gardening, sewing and reading.
What would you do if you were the mayor of Munroe Falls? I would have better communication with the residents.
What is your biggest accomplishment? Raising my children, Jeffrey and David, and taking care of my wonderful husband, Richard, for 56 years.
Whom do you most admire (excluding relatives)? I admire the boys and girls in Iraq. They're putting their lives on the line for us, and we get to enjoy all the benefits.
What is the most unusual job you have ever had? I have never really had an unusual job, but being an educational aide was very interesting. I worked with children all the time.
Something most people don't know about me is ... I was born and raised in Columbus.
