Heather Marie Smith and Aaron Andrew Luscre were united in marriage Sept. 23, 2006, at Munroe Falls Metro Park. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Wayne Doberstyn.

The bride is the daughter of Annemarie and Leonard Smith of Stow. Linda and Anthony Luscre, also of Stow, are the parents of the bridegroom.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an asymmetrical A-line gown made of raw silk from Demetrios. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of mixed pink and white flowers including orchids, gerbera daisies, stephanotis and roses.

Hanna Smith of Stow, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Wise of Columbus, childhood friend of the bride, and Erica Luscre of Stow, sister of the bridegroom. Sydney and Ashley Van Scyoc, friends of the Smith family, and Natalie Rizzo, cousin of the bridegroom, served as flowergirls.

Caleb Thomson of Akron, childhood friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Jason Amstutz of Vero Beach, Fla., friend of the bridegroom, and Thomas Smith of Stow, brother of the bride. "Poppers," the bride's dog, served as the ring bearer.

The reception took place at Acker-Moore Hall in Stow. The newlyweds enjoyed a 10-day honeymoon in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, Greece, and now reside in Streetsboro.

The bride is a graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School and the University of Akron. She is employed in labor and delivery at Akron General Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School. He attended Stark State College and the University of Akron and is employed at Monode Marking Products Inc. in Mentor.
