The Walsh Jesuit boys golf team finished in a tie for seventh with a score of 306 at the 18-team Walker Jones Classic at Shale Creek Golf Club in Medina.

Cleveland St. Ignatius won the competition with a score of 287. Rounding out the top five were Cincinnati St. Xavier (292), Massillon Jackson (295), Kettering Archbishop Alter (301), Stow-Munroe Falls (303) and Hunting Valley University (303).

The Wildcats’ Andrew Kaye earned medalist honors with a 69. Ben Cors led the Warriors with a 71.

Jay Magyari was next for the Warriors with a 74 and teammate Colton Levey shot a 79. Donovan Morris added an 82 to round out Walsh’s team scoring.
