Burglary possibly attempted: A Gary Drive man reported July 9 that someone may have tried to break into his attached garage during the previous few days after he discovered the garage’s side door was damaged.

Male reported at library: A Twinsburg Public Library employee reported July 8 that an unidentified male made several female staff members uncomfortable by asking them if they were single and where they lived. The employee said the male may also have followed and photographed one female staff member.


Phone hacked: An Ashdale Drive man reported July 9 that someone hacked his phone and then made two unspecified fraudulent transactions since the day before.

Fraudulent purchase reported: A Florida man reported July 3 that someone used his credit card without his permission to charge approximately $200 at an East Aurora Road service station recently. Police said they sent security video from the service station to the man’s local police department, which was investigating.

Found property

Bullets found at gas station: An employee of a Hadden Road service station reported July 9 that five, .22-caliber bullets were found on the ground outside the service station. The employee said it was unknown how long the bullets had been there.


Items stolen from home: A Gettysburg Drive man reported July 8 that someone took a ring, a watch, eye cream and ear buds totaling nearly $870 in value from his home during the previous month.

Package taken from porch: A Warren Parkway woman reported June 30 that someone stole a package containing an approximately $8 child’s belt after it was delivered to her front porch.

Disorderly conduct

Man’s foot lacerated: Police said they cited a Pebble Creek Drive woman, 27, with disorderly conduct while intoxicated after they responded to a report of a disturbance at a Cynthia Drive home at a little after midnight July 5. Police said the woman allegedly threw household objects, resulting in a laceration to a man’s foot.

Criminal trespassing

Postings found on polls: A security guard reported July 1 that someone put postings onto several light poles in a Canyon Falls Boulevard business’ parking lot.
