Aurora Seniors meet weekdays in the Walker Building on West Pioneer Trail in front of Aurora High School.
Programs include "lunch and learn" topics, wellness checks, breakfast and lunch outings, speakers, theme parties, arthritis exercise, health screenings and card games.
Among specific activities are: Gentle yoga Fridays at 10 a.m., Arthritis Foundation exercise Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m., bingo Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., chair volleyball Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 11:30 a.m.
Watercolor painting Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., knitting Thursdays at 1 p.m. and penny poker and euchre Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m.
Other activities are walking videos Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m., beginning Tai Chi on Thursdays at 9 a.m., podiatrist visits and canasta Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m.
Mahjong lessons are Wednesdays at 1 p.m. for beginners and those needing refresher sessions. Once proficient, players can join in for games Fridays at 1 p.m. For details, contact instructor Barbara Fredrix at 440-349-009 or email@example.com.
Some other activities are blood pressure clinics the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. and glucose screenings the first Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. Senior golf runs Thursdays through October at 9 a.m. at Raccoon Hills and Oak Knolls courses.
Lunch and music on the patio will be today (July 29) and Aug. 26 at noon. Massage with Susan Lund will be Aug. 10 and 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bingo will be Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. at Maplewood Care Center.
Manicures and pedicures will be offered Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Retired Old Men Eating Out group will go to Papous Tap and Grill on Aug. 20.
A lunch and learn program will be Aug. 31 at noon on "How to qualify for government benefits, VA aid and attendance and Medicaid."

Aug. 25 -- Cleveland Indians game; Sept. 3 or 10 -- Lolly the Trolley tour of Cleveland; Sept. 16 -- National Museum of the Great Lakes; Sept. 17 -- Packard Theater for "Greg Bonham"; Sept. 21 -- lunch bunch to Sokolowski's; Sept. 23 -- Rocksino; Sept. 30 -- Pro Football Hall of Fame.
