Walsh Jesuit recently hired 2010 Walsh Jesuit graduate George Wright as its varsity head boys lacrosse coach.
Wright played lacrosse for Otterbein University (Westerville) and was named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in 2014.
Wright served as the assistant varsity boys lacrosse and ice hockey coach for Walsh Jesuit last year.
Wright played golf, ice hockey and lacrosse at Walsh, where he was the all-time leader in goals, assists and points for the Walsh lacrosse program.
Wright also had the single-season record for goal assists and points for lacrosse until this year. He also was the fifth all-time leading scorer for the Walsh ice hockey team and served as an assistant captain.
