Douglas Allen Pavlovich, 35, died May 18, 2007.

He was born May 22, 1971, in Akron to Allen Pavlovich and Linda (Umstead) Gabele. Mr. Pavlovich was the owner and operator of "Doug-It-Up?" Landscape Renovation and Lawn Maintenance Company for three years, and he lived in Summerville, S.C. He had previously worked in golf course turf management for KRA at the River Course at Kiawah Island, S.C. He had attended Savannah College of Art and Design, and enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his wife of five years, Judi Pavlovich (nee Riddle); sons, Rees Jacob and Eion Nathanial Pavlovich, all of Summerville S.C.; father Allen Pavlovich of Cuyahoga Falls; mother Linda Gabele of Tallmadge; sisters, Holly Bauer of Stow and Joanna Resse of Cuyahoga Falls; half-brother, Allan Pavlovich of Charleston; half-sister Sara Mavinkurve of Cleveland; and stepbrothers, John, Steve, Joel and Jesse Gabele.

Mr. Pavlovich was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Gabele, in 2004.

Services took place at the James Dyal Funeral Home in Summerville, S.C. Burial was in Dorchester Memory Garden Cemetery. A memorial service is scheduled for May 29 at 6 p.m. at the Pittsfield Community Church, 17026 State Route 58 in Wellington. The Rev. Ken Gerhardt will officiate.

Local arrangements were handled by the Riddle Funeral Home in Vermilion. Online condolences may be made to
