The Hudson Stamp Show is scheduled for May 20 at the Hudson Holiday Inn from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be seven stamp dealers buying and selling postage stamps, covers, postcards, stamp supplies and old correspondence. Mobile Meals, a non-profit organization, is in urgent need of delivery volunteers in all areas of Summit and Portage counties. Meals are picked up at a food base near volunteers' homes and delivered to individuals in need right in the area. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Widowed Persons meet
Widowed Persons' Service offers comfort and support to the grieving individual.
There is no fee.
Widows and widowers are invited to join the group.
Support group sessions take place on the first and third Monday of each month, unless it is a holiday, in which case the session will be on Tuesday.
WPS meets at Cuyahoga Falls Public Library, 2015 Third St., Cuyahoga Falls, from 1 to 3 p.m.
WPS meets for breakfast Saturdays at 9 a.m. at the following locations: Jasper's Restaurant, 662 Canton Road in Akron; Town Crier, 2293 Wadsworth Road in Norton; and Four Points Sheraton Hotel, 3150 W. Market St. in Akron.

Music classes offered at Western Reserve
Western Reserve Music is offering mommy and me music classes for babies and toddlers ages newborn to 3 years old.
This is a chance for moms (or dads) to connect with their little ones through the power of music. The one-hour class includes music and movement, playtime, introduction to instruments, introduction to famous composers, and story time. Participants also will hone their own music kit.

Walk supports services for visually-impaired
Cleveland Sight Center will present the Wachovia Securities White Cane Walk at Crocker Park June 2 from 9 to 11 a.m.
Participants will walk a 1/2 mile route with a partner through Crocker Park while blindfolded after first learning sighted guide techniques and how a white cane is used. The partners will then switch roles and return to the starting point.
The purpose of the White Cane Walk is to build community awareness of the abilities of the vision impaired; to highlight the white cane law, which provides the right of way in traffic for visually impaired pedestrians with white canes; and to support the services of Cleveland Sight Center.
Representatives from more than 20 area schools from both the east and west side are expected at the event.

Ride for Lupus June 16
Ride for Lupus, sponsored by the Urban Knights Motor Cycle Club and Rick Roush Motor Sports, will start at noon June 16 at Luke Easter Park in Cleveland. It will end at Rick Roush Motor Sports in Medina.
At the end of the ride there will be food for all riders and anyone who donates. In addition, there will be a bike show, giveaways, 50/50 raffle, music and merchandise for sale.
