The Western Reserve Academy girls cross country team placed eighth with 253 points in the 22-team Division III race at the Galion Cross Country Festival Saturday at Amann’s Reservoir Park.

Centerburg won the competition with 80 points.

Maggie Corl led the Pioneers with a 22nd-place time of 22 minutes. 1.2 seconds. Olivia Robinson was next for Reserve in 32nd (22:29.6).

Rounding out the top five for WRA were Jihyeon Je (57th, 23:22), Joy Tian (70th, 24:05.4) and Clara Fu (75th, 24:16.7).
