The Western Reserve Academy boys soccer team has been a dominant force thus far in 2018.

But the Pioneers’ quest for perfection has been terminated.

Host Reserve suffered its first loss of the season after losing to Berlin Hiland 2-1 Saturday. With the loss, WRA dropped to 7-1.

All three goals took place in the second half. Keagan LeRoux scored the lone goal for the Pioneers off an assist from Orion Mills. Taylor Mullett and Pat Miller scored for Hiland (5-1-1).

Reserve goalkeeper Marcello Issa made three saves. Hiland had a 5-3 edge in shots on goal. Both teams took four corner kicks.
