The Western Reserve Academy girls soccer team held its own and was competitive the entire match.

Unfortunately for the Pioneers, those things weren’t enough to stop their losing streak.

Host Reserve lost its fourth straight game after falling to Berlin Hiland 1-0 Saturday. Both teams finished with eight shots on goal. Hiland had a 9-5 edge in corner kicks.

Goalkeeper Sophia Bluso made six saves between the pipes for WRA (1-6).
