It took four weeks and traveling all over Northeast Ohio, but the Stow-Munroe Falls football team finally scored the first win of the Tom Phillips Era on Friday.

Quarterback Josh Andrassy ran in a 5-yard read option for a touchdown with 27 seconds left in the game, giving the Bulldogs the 38-31 win over North Royalton Friday at Serpentini Stadium.

Stow led 17-10 at halftime and then got an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown from Bryce Sheppert to make it 24-10, but the Bears would not go away.

Stow will finally play its first game at home next Friday when it welcomes undefeated Wadsworth to Bulldog Stadium.
