After a slow start, the Aurora volleyball team seemed to find its niche.

Unfortunately, the Greenmen ran into a buzzsaw Tuesday.

Aurora dropped to 4-5 overall and 3-2 in the Suburban League American Conference after falling to host Revere 25-16, 25-22, 25-20 in Bath Township.

Morgan Copley had 13 kills and Brooke Besinger and Maggie Bradley each had five blocks for the Greenmen, who saw their three-match winning streak end.

Maria Parks added 21 digs and Brooke Fishback contributed 19 assists. Katie Fisher finished with three aces for Aurora.

"The girls played well," Aurora head coach Tyler Price said. "We had some unforced errors that would be momentum killers. It happens and we can use it as a learning experience.

"We know what level of play we are capable of and we are close to reaching it. We are about done with our first round of playing everyone in our conference the first time and we look forward to playing everyone again with some more favorable outcomes."
