The Western Reserve Academy boys cross country team finished 20th with 542 points in the 32-team Division III-B race at the Tiffin Carnival Saturday.

Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic easily won the competition with 41 points.

Will Downing led the Pioneers with a 31st-place time of 18 minutes, 51.2 seconds. A total of 215 runners competed.

Rounding out the top five for Reserve were Raymond Barrett (89th, 20:02.4), Tano Nguyen (129th, 20:58.2), Matthew McCaffrey (151st, 21:22.1) and Quentin Mundy (156th, 21:26.8).
