The Aurora boys cross country team finished fourth with 146 points in the 13-team Division I race at the Pat Ritchie Invitational Saturday at Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls.

Chardon easily won the competition with 33 points and Strongsville took third with 112 points.

Louisville won the competition with 58 points and Hunting Valley University (67) and Stow-Munroe Falls (107) took second and third, respectively.

University’s Justin Iler won the 105-member race with a time of 17 minutes.

Greenman freshman Matthew Singleton placed second in 17:20.Also finishing in the top 10 for Aurora was senior Robert Taylor (eighth, 17:41).

Rounding out the top five for the Greenmen were freshman Andrew Ploskunak (26th, 18:24), sophomore Max Manderbach (59th, 19:11) and sophomore Noah Harrison (64th, 19:13).
