But the Blue Devils survived a brutal test for the second time in three days.

Two days after rallying from a two-set deficit against Kent Roosevelt, the Tallmadge volleyball team went the distance yet again against another Suburban League American Conference rival.

The host Blue Devils improved to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the conference with a thrilling 25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 21-25, 15-8 victory over Copley Thursday at James O. Maddox Court.

Alex Perrin had 17 kills and seven service points and Amelia Perdue had 21 assists, 13 service points and eight assists for Tallmadge.

Sydney Kirker finished with 15 digs and 12 assists and Ellie Kirker posted 24 assists, 11 digs and seven service points for the Blue Devils.

Kelsie Horner added 28 digs and nine service points and Katie Seeker contributed nine kills for Tallmadge.
