Heading into the Suburban League Super Duals, Nordonia cross country coach Mike Martin said Hudson would be the favorite, but the margin between the rest of the National Conference team could be razor thin.

The results Saturday from Silver Creek Metro Park in Norton show the veteran Knights’ coach was spot on.

With much of its lineup back, the Nordonia boys finished 5-2 against Nation Conference foes at the duals to take third place. Hudson’s boys went 7-0.
