The Aurora girls track and field team finished in a tie for 58th place with one point at the Division I state meet, which concluded Saturday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.

Gahanna Lincoln won the 64-team competition with 51 points and Twinsburg and Lancaster tied for second with 31 points.

Freshman Brianna Rawlings scored the Lady Greenmen’s lone point with an eighth-place long jump of 17 feet, 11 ¼ inches.

Also competing for Aurora was junior Corinne Henderson, who finished 16th with a vault of 10-6 in the pole vault.
