The Hudson girls lacrosse team continued its stellar season with a convincing 14-5 victory over host Shaker Heights Saturday.

Piper Trattner led the way with three goals and Tyler Vidmar had two goals and two assists for the Lady Explorers, who improved to 10-2 on the season.

Maggie Palumbo had two goals and one assist and Kendall Paltani scored one goal and added two assists for Hudson.

Elizabeth Hinkle contributed two goals and Paige Palumbo, Jamison Cart, Sarah Hinkle and Lily Edwards each scored once for the Lady Explorers.

Hudson outshot the Lady Red Raiders 17-10 and had a 28-11 edge in ground balls. Mia Becker scooped up a team-high five ground balls for the Lady Explorers.

Shaker won 11 of 21 draws, but the Lady Red Raiders committed 21 turnovers. Hudson lost the ball 16 times.
