The Aurora baseball team’s difficult season continued after a 2-1 loss to host Copley Thursday.

The Greenmen dropped to 8-11 overall and 5-6 in the Suburban League American Conference.

The Indians scored both of their runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Aurora finished with nine hits and two errors. Copley had just three hits and two errors.

Right-hander Zachary Elsawy was the hard-luck loser despite striking out eight batters and walking two in 6-? innings of work.

Tate Larrance had two hits, including a double, and an RBI and Evan Fromwiller had two hits for the Greenmen.
