The host Tallmadge softball team improved to 9-1 overall and 3-1 in the Suburban League American Conference after posting a lopsided 12-2 victory over Barberton Friday at Stein Field.
The game was called after six innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.
The Lady Blue Devils scored at least a run in every inning. They finished with 14 hits and no errors.
The Lady Magics had six hits and five errors.
Jordyn Severns had three hits and a walk to lead Tallmadge. Kennedy Rorar drove in three runs for the Lady Blue Devils.
Right-hander Emily Pratt got the win the pitcher’s circle. She struck out six batters in six innings of work.
