The host Aurora baseball team improved to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the Suburban League American Conference after posting a 7-4 victory over Theodore Roosevelt Wednesday.

The Greenmen scored five runs in the bottom of the second inning to take a 6-2 lead.

Aurora finished with five hits and two errors. The Rough Riders had four hits and eight errors.

Right-hander Tate Larrance got the win on the mound. He allowed one earned run in six innings despite issuing five walks.

Evan Fromwiller had two hits, including a triple, a walk, two RBIs, a run scored and a stolen base for the Greenmen.

Will Carpenter had a triple, a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored and Drew McVay had a single, a stolen base, two runs scored and an RBI for Aurora.

Colin McNamara also had a single and two stolen bases for the Greenmen, who stole six bases.
