The Aurora baseball team improved to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the Suburban League American Conference after posting a 6-4 victory over host Barberton Tuesday.

The Magics scored two runs in the top of the first inning, but the Greenmen responded with three runs in the bottom of the inning.

Barberton tied the game with a run in the fourth. However, Aurora took the lead for good with three runs in the fifth.

The Greenmen finished with 10 hits and four errors. The Magics had four hits and no errors.

Evan Fromwiller led Aurora’s offense with two hits, including a triple, two runs scored and two runs batted in.

Jacob Blue added two hits, and a run scored and Chris Rote had two singles and two RBIs for the Greenmen.

Drew McVay added a single and two runs scored for Aurora.

Michael Sapp got the win on the mound despite issuing five walks. He allowed three earned runs in seven innings of work.
