Twinsburg senior Tyahana Elder rolled a 729 series to win the Division I state girls bowling championship Saturday at Wayne Webb Columbus Bowl.

She rolled games of 268, 213 and 248, respectively.

Elder defeated second-place finisher Kirsten Moore of Tallmadge by 48 pins. A total of 104 bowlers competed.

On Friday, junior Kaleb East finished 16th at the state boys tournament. He rolled a 634 series (243, 136 and 255).
