COLUMBUS — Day three Saturday at the Division I state wrestling tournament at Value City Arena in Columbus turned out to be rough one for Stow-Munroe Falls’ Dan Patten.

That said, the sophomore 138-pounder will return home with an All-Ohio medal in his pocket.

Patten finished sixth in Division I at 138 pounds, as went 0-2 in his Saturday matches.

In his consolation semifinal match, Patten faced Brecksville-Broadview Heights’ Marco Regalbuto and lost an 11-3 major decision.

In the fifth-place match, Patten tangled with Cincinnati Princeton’s Jovan Fuqua. Fuqua scored the pin in 46 seconds, forcing Patten to settle for sixth.

Patten ends his sophomore season with a record of 45-11.
