Hudson Community Education and Recreation is offering three men’s softball leagues, which allow area residents the chance to play softball in an organized format at Hudson’s Oak Grove Field.

HCER’s Friday age 40-and-older league offers a competitive format for more experienced players.

The Tuesday Night league is for men age 18 and older and offers competitive play for teams with league experience.

Sunday’s Social League is for the recreational player age 18 and older who wants to play an afternoon game time. This league has run rules to encourage players with less experience to play.

Returning teams have until Feb. 26 to reserve their spots in one of the leagues. New teams can fill any remaining league openings, starting March 13.

The HCER softball league is $385 for resident teams (teams with 50 percent or more of roster who live or work in Hudson) and $485 for non-resident teams.

League play is scheduled to begin in May and ends with a championship tournament in August.
