The Hudson gymnastics team finished third with 135.85 points at the nine-team Suburban League Meet Saturday at Brecksville-Broadview Heights School.

The Lady Bees won the competition with 142 points and North Royalton placed second with 136.45 points.

The Lady Royals’ Mya Costello won the all-around competition with 36.2 points.

Julia Petty led the Lady Explorers with a fifth-place all-around score of 34.6.

She placed sixth on the balance beam (8.65), seventh on the uneven parallel bars (8.6), 10th on the vault (8.7) and 13th on the floor exercise (8.65).

Julia’s sister, Abby Petty, was next for Hudson in sixth (34.4).

Abby Petty finished fifth on the floor (9.05), eighth on the vault (8.8), 12th on the bars (8.2) and 14th on the beam (8.35).

Samantha Sigler finished 14th with an all-around score of 32.8. She placed 12th on the beam (8.45), 14th on the bars (8.1), 22nd on the floor (8.25) and 33rd on the vault (8).

The Lady Explorers’ other all-around competitor was Hannah Teed, who finished 20th (31.85).

She placed 19th on the floor (8.4), 21st on the beam (8.1), 24th on vault (8.25) and 32nd on the bars (7.1).

Also competing for Hudson were Lina Ikhlef, who finished fourth on the beam (8.75), 12th on the vault (8.6) and 39th on the floor (39th); Cecily Merrick, who placed 23rd on the beam (7.7), 25th on the vault (8.25) and 30th on the floor (8.05); Alyssa Bezdek (13th on the beam, 8.4); and Jill Bevan (17th on the bars, 8).
