The Western Reserve Academy boys basketball team is undefeated in 2018.

Of course, its first victory of the year also ended a seven-game losing streak.

The host Pioneers earned a 54-49 victory over Cleveland John Adams Friday evening at the Murdough Athletic Center.

At one point, Reserve (2-7) led by double digits. However, John Adams roared back to take the lead in the second half.

But WRA made some crucial shots and played stellar defense to prevail.

Cooper Parrott led the way with 25 points. Jalin Billingsley added 15 points for the Pioneers.
