The Aurora gymnastics team earned a fifth-place score of 119.675 points in its 2017-18 season debut Wednesday at West Geauga High School in Chesterland.

Mentor won the 15-team competition with 135.1 points and Chardon took second with 133.725 points.

West Geauga (133.1) and Mayfield (121.975) placed third and fourth, respectively.

The following Lady Greenmen competed:

* Vault: Lauren Lubin, tied for 22nd, 8.15; an Corinne Henderson, tied for 30th, 7.9; Grace Rahill, 41st, 7.5; and Katie Zamary, 45th, 6.5

* Uneven parallel bars: Henderson, seventh, 7.875; Rahill, tied for 19th, 7.15; Lubin, tied for 24th, 6.95; and Zamary, 31st, 6.6

* Balance beam: Henderson, tied for fifth, 8.85; Zamary, tied for 22nd, 8; Rahill, 26th, 7.9; and Lubin, 43rd 5.9

* Floor exercise: Henderson, 11th, 8.3; Zamary, 27th, 7.45; Lubin, tied for 30th, 7.35; and Rahill, 33rd, 7.25

* All around: Henderson, eighth, 32.925; Rahill, 22nd, 29.85; Zamary, 25th, 26.55; and Lubin, 28th, 28.35
