The Aurora girls basketball team improved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Suburban League American Conference after posting a 48-35 victory over Theodore Roosevelt.

The contest took place Wednesday in Kent.

The Lady Greenmen allowed just three points in the first quarter and were up 23-14 at halftime.

Aurora outscored the Lady Rough Riders 12-7 in the final eight minutes.

Shyanne Sellers and Shayla Sellers led the way with 14 and 12 points, respectively, for the Lady Greenmen.

Dylynn Lasky added 10 points for Aurora.
