The Aurora ice hockey team dropped to 6-2 overall and 1-1 in the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League Blue North Division after losing to Twinsburg 7-4.
The match took place Sunday at the Dan Kostel Recreation Center in Garfield Heights.
The Greenmen had a 4-1 lead through two periods. Tomi Pirinen had two goals and Jack McElwee and Cameron Mullin each had one.
Pirinen, Mike Avalon and Jack Pfiffner each had an one assist. Aurora goaltender Jordan Smith made 26 saves.
"At the end of the day, the story with our team is consistency," Greenmen head coach John Sheridan said. "It's certainly a disappointing weekend when you lose two out of three games and we definitely have to work on some facets and learn to come out with the same mentality every game."
"The good news is that it's still early in the year and we can definitely improve. We still got a big league win against CVCA on Saturday and now we have a week off to regroup at practice and get ready for our next game."
