The second-seeded Stow-Munroe Falls volleyball team advanced to Division I district play.

The host Lady Bulldogs earned a 25-16, 25-22, 25-18 victory over 10th-seeded Cuyahoga Falls in a sectional title match Saturday at James G. Tyree Gymnasium.

With the win, Stow is scheduled to entertain third-seeded Akron Archbishop Hoban in a district semifinal Tuesday. Play is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Hoban advanced with a 25-22, 25-23, 17-25, 21-25, 15-9 win over Hudson.

Lizzy Stefanov led the Lady Bulldogs with 22 kills, 9 digs and 4 aces.

Lauren Fair had 39 assists and Julia DiPaola had 13 kills and 7 digs.

Alyssa Tallarico added 11 digs and 3 aces for Stow.

Jacquelyn Shields led the Lady Black Tigers with 7 kills and Morgan Frame and McKenzie Flick each had 12 digs. Frame also had 3 aces.

Rebecca Postlewaite added 12 assists for Falls.
