After the second round of the Hudson Junior Invitational, the field for the girls tournament has tightened up.

Day one leader Madison Butler of Hinkley remains on top of the leaderboard at even par for the tournament. Butler shot a round of 73 (one over par) June 28 at The Country Club of Hudson to maintain her lead.

However, Butler's lead is down to one stroke, thanks to a big second round from Mia Kness of Venetia, Penn. After shooting a 76 in her first round, Kness had the best round of day, shooting a 69 (three under par), which was the only under-par round of day two.

Kness sits at one over par for the tournament, one stroke behind Butler.

Jessica Hahn of Canton will also be in the final group tomorrow, as she sits in third place. Hahn shot an even-par round of 72 in round two and sits at two-over for the tournament.

Kory Nielsen of Kent (74-73, three over par) and Jennifer Wang of Solon (74-74, four over par) round out the top five heading into the final round.

Hudson resident Jenn David shot a round of 81 in round two. She sits at 15 over par for the tournament.

Due to weather concerns, round three of the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
