The ninth Annual Jarod M. Dean Memorial Golf Outing will be June 10 at 8 a.m. at Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club, 1101 Barlow Road in Hudson.

The event is in memory of Jarod M. Dean, one of Boston Heights finest, who lost his life in the line of duty on Jan. 19, 2009. This event’s proceeds financially supports the Paul Lance & Steve Heitz Annual Scholarship Fund. The goal is to raise $10,000.

The event is a 4-man scramble and skins game, which includes a lunch of steak or chicken.

The registration fee is $90 per person, which includes: Greens fees, golf cart, breakfast, lunch and complimentary beverages along with a chance to win prizes during the tournament play and luncheon. A team captain can register an entire team, cost is $360.

There are also four corporate sponsorship packages available, which includes sponsoring holes, green fees, bonus cups and advertising signage.

The golf outing is put on by the Northwest Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #123 & Northwest Fraternal Order of Police Associates Lodge #68. Its members consist of active and retired law enforcement officers along with supporting citizens from Hudson, Boston Heights, Peninsula, Reminderville and Twinsburg Township Police Departments.
