The host Hudson boys volleyball team earned its third straight win after posting a 20-25, 25-10, 25-13, 25-20 victory over Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary May 10 at Ray "Buck" Hyser Gymnasium.

Larry Meehan had 18 assists, six digs, five kills, four aces and two blocks and Matt Gentry had 10 kills, four blocks and two aces for Hudson (8-9).

Also contributing for Hudson were Thomas Morgan (seven digs, four aces and a 2.7 passer rating), Kellen McCabe (seven digs, two aces and a 2.6 passer rating), Kolby Miller (10 kills, four assists and two blocks), Mitch Gray (five blocks and four kills) and Shane Chilcott (six kills, four blocks and no aces).

Hudson earned a 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 20-25, 15-9 victory over Medina May 9 on the road.

Matt Gentry had a season-high 22 kills to go with four aces and three blocks.

Meehan contributed 18 assists, a season-high 12 digs, four aces, three kills and three blocks and Miller had six kills, three blocks, two assists and two digs. Morgan added 11 digs for Hudson.

Hudson was scheduled to entertain Stow-Munroe Falls May 11. Results were not available at press time.

Hudson is set to conclude its regular season at Brunswick May 18 at 6 p.m.
