The Hudson girls lacrosse team won both of its matches at the Cleveland Heights Tournament April 29 at the Laurel Butler Campus in Russell.

The Lady Explorers made it six in a row after defeating Shaker Heights Laurel 9-2.

Corinne Hunt led Hudson with five goals and one assist.

Ari Bankovich contributed two goals and one assist and Sarah Hinkle had two goals.

Elizabeth Hinkle, Maddie Valko and Kendall Paltani each had one assist for the Lady Explorers (7-2). Elizabeth Hinkle also won all four of her draws.

Hudson goalie Kristin Potts made eight saves in the cage.

The Lady Explorers also posted a 7-4 victory over New Albany April 29.

Hunt and Bankovich each had two goals and one assist and Valko, Sarah Keller and Elizabeth Hinkle each had one goal.

Hudson (6-2) did not allow a goal in the second half. Elle Marquez won 8 of 13 draws for the Lady Explorers.

Hudson goalies Addie Gojdics and Kristin Potts made five and two saves, respectively.

The host Lady Explorers earned a 13-11 victory over Shaker Heights April 27 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.

Hudson had a 7-4 advantage at halftime.

Bankovich and Hunt each had huge performances for the Lady Explorers.

Bankovich had four goals and four assists and Hunt had five goals and one assist.

Valko added three goals and Elizabeth Hinkle had a goal and an assist for the Lady Explorers. Elizabeth Hinkle also scooped up six ground balls.

Piper Trattner had an assist for Hudson. Gojdics and Potts made five and four saves, respectively.

The Lady Explorers were scheduled to entertain Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown May 2. Results were not available at press time.

They are set to host Cleveland Heights May 4 at 6:30 p.m. before heading to Cuyahoga Falls to play Walsh Jesuit May 6 at 12:30 p.m.
