The host Hudson boys tennis team improved to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the Suburban League National Conference after posting a 4-1 victory over Stow-Munroe Falls April 12.
Nicci Polifrone (6-1, 6-1) and David Tullett (6-1, 6-0) dominated at second and third singles, respectively.
The Explorers also had no trouble in doubles' play. Hudson's No. 1 team of Sam Yurak and Rob Tobin cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win and the Explorers' second doubles team of Wendell Wu and Spencer Rodgers posted a 6-2, 6-1 victory.

Harrshavasan Congivaram earned a tough 6-3, 6-7, 1-0 victory at singles.
Polifrone and Tullett didn't have nearly as much trouble.

The Explorers' doubles' teams also had no trouble.
The team of Tobin and Yurak cruised to a 6-0, 6-3 victory and the duo of Wu and Rodgers broke even less of a sweat with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
Hudson was scheduled to entertain Solon April 13. Results were not available at press time. The Explorers are set to visit National Conference foes Twinsburg April 17 and Wadsworth April 19. They are scheduled to host Cleveland St. Ignatius April 18. All three matches are set to begin at 4 p.m.
