The host Western Reserve Academy girls lacrosse team lost to Everest (Ontario, Canada) Academy 13-3 April 8.

Everest had a 4-1 lead at halftime. Julia Gasbarre had two goals for the Pioneers (2-2) and Tia Forsythe scored the other goal for Reserve.

Teagan Polak added an assist for WRA and Pioneers' goalie Brooke Barsella made six saves in the cage.

Host Reserve posted an 11-7 victory over Brecksville-Broadview Heights April 6.

Gasbarre had three goals and one assist and Abby King had three goals for WRA.

Mackenzie Farber contributed two goals and one assist and Chloe Beggs added two goals for the Pioneers.

Polak also scored once and Forsythe had one assist. Barsella made 10 saves in the cage.

Reserve was scheduled to visit Hawken April 11 in Gates Mills. Results were not available at press time.

WRA is set to visit Theodore Roosevelt April 13 in Kent. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
