The host Tallmadge girls track and field team dropped to 1-1 overall and 1-1 in the Suburban League American Conference after suffering a 98-39 defeat to Copley April 11 at Thomas Rossiaky Stadium.
Sara Johnson led the Lady Blue Devils with a first-place time of 27.3 seconds in the 200-meter dash. She also won the long jump with a leap of 16 feet, 1.5 inches.
Tallmadge also got two first-place finishes from Ravyn Edge, who won the 800 in 2:36.85. She beat the second-place finisher by more than 12 seconds.
Edge added a win in the 1,600 with a clocking of 5:43.93. She won that race by more than 11 seconds.
Brittney Harris added a first (16.45) in the 100 hurdles.
The other Lady Blue Devils' win came from Vanessa Lane, who took first in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet.

• 1,600: Kenna Loveless, third, 5:56.48
• 300 hurdles: Madison Tasich, second, 50.5
