WRA boys rollpast Westlake

The host Western Reserve Academy boys lacrosse team improved to 2-1 on the season after posting a 12-3 victory over Westlake March 29.

Brett Erskine led the way with six goals and two assists and Andrew Boniface and Ben Slotnik each contributed one goal and four assists for the Pioneers.

Evan Bongers had two goals and Joseph Jordan had one goal and one assist for Reserve. Noah Goad also scored for WRA and Paul Schumacher scooped up a team-high seven ground balls.

The Pioneers were scheduled to visit Walsh Jesuit April 1 in Cuyahoga Falls. Results were not available at press time.

Reserve is set to entertain Kiski (Pa.) at 2 p.m. and Cleveland St. Ignatius April 5 at 4:30 p.m.
